Modded Crystal Xbox Xecuter 3 300gb bundle XBMC more I have been modding and coaxing this system for the past month and let me tell you, it is either perfect or really close. This happens to be the Crystal Clear RARE and alluring color along with a Xecuter 3 hardmode, Xbox Media Center Dash, 300gb drive, 1 Controller S, and LCD/BIOS faceplate. Get a programmer and go to the download section and download the Xecuter 2 Bios Manager v2.3 (XBM v2.3)worked just fine for me,and then go into your aid folders and grab what ever bios you choose to use.that what i did.when you do use the bios manager on the bottom it will let you know whether or not the chip is detected.it will say either not.
Not only is Aladdin Advance XT inexpensive for its features, it is also compatible with all Xbox versions 1.0 to 1.6 (NEW!). The chip also supports external LCD displays for best picture quality, similar to many 4th generation mod chips. The Aladdin XT comes pre-flashed (upgraded) with Evox M8 BIOS (LBA48-06/IGR) bios, 256k BIOS banks, and can be shut off for online gaming with a touch of a button. With features of the Aladdin Advance 64, Aladdin 32 and the Aladdin Plus, it is the perfect bargain mod chip for even the newest versions (version 1.6) of the Xbox. I don't see anything wrong with this modchip - its affordable too so why would I opt for the other ones? Go with the Xbox, honestly though many people say its a downside to the box, a ton of PC games are ported to it and vice versa so you can still get your PC gaming kick, but with the added titles the system delivers as well as none of the pc gaming expense and headache. The homebrew software available for a modded box is just insane; emulators for practically every console from PS1 down to Amiga, on the fly copying of your games, DVD movies, etc, not to get into what Xbox Media Center can do.

The Aladdin is a crappy chip but the average user doesn't tap half of what's in a Xecuter 3 so I wouldn't worry. 250 is a good price if the seller is on the level. NO! If your going to buy a modchip, please don't go out and buy a cheap ass chip. People have many problems with that chip. Just spend a little more and get a better one.
I recommend anyone to get the SmartXX v2 chip, it has the best specs compared to any xbox chip plus its the easiest to mod. Trust me, I modded 5 xboxs with the SmartXX mod, and it only took 5 mins to install and about 15 min to program.another 20 min to add a bigger HDD. Also get a solderless adapter so you don't have to solder anything down to the motherboard, less chance of you messing up the xbox. Xbox 2 is about to come out.who cares:p.
M$ is going make that impossible to mod, so dont your hopes up.:huh.
You dont need a programmer if you have another modchip you can flash the other chip, boot it, have evox dash, and evoxm8 on your hdd (if its a 1.6 use a evoxm816) m8plus is preferred. When booted, change the chip to the bad flash, then reflash it from evox. (hotswap) you can flash to either bank 1 or bank 2, it doesnt make a difference, the thing is the 2.6ce cromwell are different on each bank, but if you flash from evox, you can use either its good to have cromwell on one bank, especially useful for bad flashes a good thing to do is keep a few bios on a hdd if you need customised bios pm me.
